Akims of Beskaragai district and Kurchatov town reported on the results of socio-economic development over the first seven months of this year

Akim of East Kazakhstan region positively evaluated the results of socio-economic development of Beskaragai district, but was not satisfied with the results of Kurchatov town.

Presenting a brief report on the work of the district, Akim of Beskaragai district noted that over the first seven months of this year their district ranks 6th in terms of socio-economic development among the cities and districts of the region.

- The volume of gross agricultural output amounted to KZT 8589.2 million. Due to the lack of rain in May and June, grain was harvested from an area of ​​11.900 ha, 8.800 tons were harvested with an average yield of 7 c/ha, last year it was 8.2 c/ha. In August, 10 large families received the keys to two-room apartments. In September, 16 families will move into new two-family houses. Another 34 families will get new houses in October, - Shalkar Baibekov reported.

Things are different with Kurchatov. Town akimat did not manage to fulfill the key indicators of the socio-economic development plan of the town for 7 months of this year. The output of processing industry amounted to KZT348.5 million, which is KZT8.8 million less than the plan, 97.5% was fulfilled.

- By the end of October, 14 large families who are on the waiting list will receive the keys to new apartments. The main improvement works have been completed by 90%, - said Akim of Kurchatov town Alexey Glazinsky.

Following the meeting, the head of the region instructed to check all hospitals for the availability of necessary equipment and premises’ condition.

- Recently I visited Tavria, I saw one-centimeter cracks, there is not a single curtain on the windows. People will come there healthy and instantly become sick from frost and cold. Health Administration should check all hospitals of the region, we must prevent such situations, summed up Akim of East Kazakhstan region.
