The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited a major milk processing enterprise of East Kazakhstan region

For over 20 years, the company has been producing milk and dairy products, and produces 80 types of goods.
As part of the working trip, Askar Mamin, accompanied by Akim of East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov, visited East-Milk enterprise.
The idea of developing the dairy industry was sounded by the head of the region a few years ago, who noted that Kazakhstan has great potential in the dairy sector.
According to the Director General of East-Milk LLP Seilzhan Sailaubayev, the milk deficit in the country is about a million tons. In order to cover it, it is necessary to build 500 – 600 farms. However, it is already encouraging that more and more operating farms are being modernized and enlarged. Farmers create cooperatives and, actively increase the livestock number using state support measures. According to the head of the Milk Processing Plant, today it is necessary to work not only to meet the country's needs, but also to develop an export-oriented economy.
Today the plant processes 100 tons of products per year, although the capacity allows it to double this volume. Effects are beginning to be felt due to enormous work aimed at constructing milk collecting stations, so that today people in villages are starting to raise cattle again.
It’s worth noting that East-Milk LLP plant annually invests large-scale funds in the modernization of production processes, introduces new technologies. At the same time, the enterprise is a permanent participant and winner of product quality competitions - Grand Prix of Best Samples of Cheese - 2014, Silver Medal of Best Samples of Butter, Paryz 2008, for 10 years in a row the company won all the Grand Prix of Quality at the competition in Russia.
