Askar Mamin visited Field and Track Arena of East Kazakhstan region

During the working trip, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Field and Track Arena.

In Olga Rypakova Field and Track Arena, an additional building will soon be put into service, where athletes-participants of competitions are able to warm up and prepare for competitions.

The warm-up area was built by order of the head of the region Danial Akhmetov, who has always supported and supports athletics not only in East Kazakhstan, but throughout the country.

This area was presented to the Prime Minister. It has 8 lanes, where one can train in one hundred-meter dash even in the winter season. Additionally, there are sectors for long and high jumps and even for throwing. According to the Olympic Champion Olga Rypakova, a trainer-consultant from Europe, having visited the Arena of Ust-Kamenogorsk, noted that it practically has no analogues. In most cases, prefabricated arenas are erected for competitions, which are dismantled after athletics competitions. In our case, now in the new building of the Arena there is also an additional gym, offices for medical specialists. This means that here athletes will be able to train and prepare, as well as undergo rehabilitation.

Additionally, a special throwing field is expected to appear next to the Arena. At the moment, in Kazakhstan, this is the only stationary building for both competitions and training. There is an excellent modern sports equipment and sports facilities there, which allows us to say that in the near abroad one can hardly find a sports facility that fully satisfies the needs of athletes and meets all international standards.
