The State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan appreciated the development of Karagaily microdistrict in Semey

The State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Krymbek Kusherbayev got acquainted with the development of Karagaily microdistrict in Semey city, accompanied by Akim of East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov.

Since 2017, 22 residential buildings have been built in Karagayly - these are 1,549 apartments, using various sources of funding, including the Baiterek Development Holding, Zhilstroisberbank, bonds of local executive agencies and much more. In 2020, contracts were signed for the construction of seven more houses. It will be both housing that can be purchased as property and rental apartments without the right to purchase. The decision on active development of Karagaily microdistrict in Semey was made by Akim of East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov in order to significantly reduce the number of people on the waiting list for housing.

By 2025, it is planned to put into operation 133 apartment buildings, the project for the detailed planning of the microdistrict provides for the construction of three schools and six kindergartens.

The district is provided with main networks of water supply, sewerage, telecommunications, heat supply and power supply within the framework of the Nurly Zhol Program. Nazarbayev Intellectual School with a dormitory for 120 places and a kindergarten for 320 places, built as part of a public-private partnership, were opened in 2016.

The most important event in the cultural and sports life not only of Karagaily microdistrict, but also, without exaggeration, the entire region was the opening in 2019 of a unique complex that allows you to hold world-class sports and entertainment events. The cultural and sports complex consists of three blocks - the most remarkable is, of course, a huge arena for spectators. There are several pools, cross fit rooms and children's playing areas. Also, a fountain was opened there for citizens.

Krymbek Kusherbayev noted the positive dynamics of Semey city, highly appreciated the development of the microdistrict, noting that Karagaily has become a mini-city.

The main task of the implementation of the comprehensive development plan of Semey is to improve the life quality local citizens.
