Details of deaths from coronavirus in East Kazakhstan region

1) A patient born in 1963 was admitted to the infectious ward of the district hospital of Urjar district on June 6 in serious condition.

PCR testing for coronavirus infection showed a positive result. In addition, severe bilateral pneumonia was diagnosed.

Complication: Respiratory failure of the 3rd degree. Multiple organ failure syndrome.

2) A resident of Semey city born in 1958 was admitted to the city infectious diseases hospital on June 12, 2020.

Diagnosis: COVID-19, severe bilateral subtotal pneumonia. He had been ill for a week before hospitalization, was treated independently on an outpatient basis in a private clinic.

Complication: Septic shock RF of 2-3 degrees. Chronic Cardiac Failure - 3 degree.

Secondary diagnosis: Arterial hypertension of 2-3 degrees, risk 4.

Patients underwent appropriate treatment and diagnosis. Due to the grave conditions, they had cardiac failure. Despite intensive care and resuscitation, their lives hadn’t been saved.
