From June 13, Kazakhstanis will be able to relax on the shores of Lake Alakol. But with only one condition. All holiday-makers and owners of recreation facilities must strictly comply with sanitary and epidemiological standards.
Three special monitoring groups have gone to the coast of the lake to inspect the readiness of the resorts. It turned out that out of 175 registered resorts, only 59, or only 34%, have started the preparatory works. The owners of 116 holiday homes have not yet begun preparations to receive holidaymakers.
According to the Deputy Head of Goods and Services Quality and Safety Control Department of East-Kazakhstan region Nurlangazy Ibrayev, out of 59 resorts, only one marked points along the way to skip the queues in crowded places, 12 resorts bought contactless thermometers, 22 ones placed sanitizers with antiseptics, and 32 purchased disinfectants.
Also, the playgrounds and architectural forms established in the recreation centers were not disinfected, there were no responsible persons to monitor the provision of sanitary and epidemiological safety standards, questioning of arriving persons.
To date, not a single resort out of 175 has received an act of full readiness for the tourist season of 2020.
- From June 13, we begin the tourist season on the lake. According to the planned date, the first round of preventive disinfection, disinsection, disinfestation on the coast of Alakol was carried out. Markings were made pointing out the location of sunbeds on the beach to ensure social distancing of vacationers. The most important thing is the health of holiday-makers. For this reason, we ask all entrepreneurs to take measures to ensure safety and compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards”, said Nurlangazy Ibrayev.
We also recall that holiday-makers arriving at Alakol must have the results of rapid testing or PCR. At the same time, only one family member can pass the test for the coronavirus.
