East Kazakhstan region reported 11 cases of the coronavirus infection

Residents of Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Tarbagatai, Urjar districts were tested positive by PCR.

7 people are residents of Urjar district, one patient from Semey city, one from Tarbagatai district and the other two from Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

7 patients were tested according to epidemiological indications as contacts with previously registered cases of the CVI, the first patient during monitoring for acute respiratory disease and three patients applied to the hospital with fever, general weakness.

Currently, patients are isolated in the infectious diseases hospital.

A mobile group consisting of specialists from the territorial healthcare administration and medical workers is organized to conduct an epidemical investigation and medical examination of contacts, final disinfection of the center is carried out. Epidemiological measures are underway.

At present, 159 confirmed cases have been registered in EKR.
