7 new cases of the coronavirus infection registered in East Kazakhstan region

A resident of Tarbagatai district born in 1972, residents of Karaganda region who arrived in Ayagoz district born in 1979, 1993, and those who arrived from the Russian Federation born in 2000, 2001, 1985, 1991 have been tested positive for the COVID-19 by PCR.

A patient born in 1972 was lab tested according to the epidemiological indications, as a contact with a previously registered case, two people for preventive purposes, persons who arrived on shift work in Ayagoz district, the four ones during the monitoring of arrivals from abroad.

Currently, patients have been isolated in the infectious diseases hospital.

A mobile group consisting of specialists from the territorial healthcare administration and medical workers is organized to conduct an epidemical investigation and medical examination of contacts, final disinfection of the center is carried out.

An epidemiological investigation and anti-epidemic measures are underway.

To date, 142 lab confirmed cases have been registered in the region.
