OPERATIONAL INFORMATION (As of May 17, 2020)

Another case of the coronavirus infection was registered in Semey city.

It’s a woman born in 1983 who was hospitalized with signs of acute respiratory disease. Laboratory tests showed a positive result for the coronavirus infection.

Currently, the patient is placed in the infectious diseases hospital.

According to the epidemiological anamnesis, she did not leave the region or the country. The work is underway to identify contacts, their hospitalization and taking tests.

As of May 17, 2020, 58 people with the COVID-2019 infection were identified in the region.
