Another new case of the CVI registered in East Kazakhstan region

A resident of Semey born in 1972 tested positive with this dangerous infection. The man was among contacts of the previously patient.

The analysis results made at the branch of the National Center for Expertise of East Kazakhstan region by PCR confirmed the COVID-19.

Currently the man is hospitalized in the infectious diseases hospital and is receiving treatment.

The patient's condition is satisfactory.

An epidemiological investigation and anti-epidemic measures to determine the circle of contacts are underway.

As of May 16, 2020, there are 57 people with COVID-19 infection in the region. 21 ones recovered.
