Another case of COVID-19 was registered in East Kazakhstan region. A woman of 1965, a resident of Tarbagatai district.

The patient after admission to the provisional hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of viral pneumonia, according to the algorithm, was immediately examined for coronavirus infection. PCR assays confirmed she was infected with the COVID-19.

The patient is isolated in an infectious box. The patient is in moderate condition. It is worth noting that she did not travel outside the region or country. An epidemiological investigation is underway.

By the way, at the moment, 29 confirmed cases of CVI are registered in the region, including 3 imported. Territorially, they are - 7 cases in Ust-Kamenogorsk, 19 cases in Semey, 1 case in Abai, 1 case Gluboky and 1 case Tarbagatai districts.
