Cardiologic Center in Ayagoz is expected to be completed by early summer

Cardiologic Center that meets all standards like all regional clinics will provide medical care not only to residents of Ayagoz district, but also to Urjar, Zharma, and part of Tarbagatai districts. The construction progress was inspected by

Akim of East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov as part of his working trip to Ayagoz district.

Cardiologic Center is created on the basis of Ayagoz Central District Hospital. According to Shalkar Omarov, the head physician of the CRH, the need to create a center appeared long ago. Previously, almost all patients with sharp cardiological pathology were directed for treatment to the cardiological clinics of Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Nur-Sultan and Almaty.

The contract for the overhaul of the Ayagoz Cardiologic Center was signed on February, 20 of this year. To date, work has been completed by 60 percent. By June 1, it is planned to complete the repair and installation works.

- All the necessary equipment for the Center has already been purchased. By May 15, a medical X-ray and angiographic apparatus will be installed. We also have a computer tomograph. I would also like to note that a centralized oxygen supply is currently operating in the hospital. Here in the Cardiologic Center we will treat patients with sharp cardiological pathology, and after that we will send them for rehabilitation. There is also the Insult Center. For 2 years we treated 1870 patients, 970 underwent rehabilitation”, said Shalkar Omarov.

The head of the region Danial Akhmetov was pleased with the rate and quality of construction work. In addition, Akim of the region visited the Maternity Department in the Central District Hospital, which last year switched to the third level of medical care.

- This is a different level of rural medicine. An angiograph will be delivered in the near future, and then the Ayagoz district hospital will be like those in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semey. 15 doctors of this hospital were trained in Europe. This is a real progress. And it gives satisfaction”, Danial Akhmetov said.

During his working visit, the head of the region also inspected the progress of construction of two five-story residential buildings. 60 apartment houses are planned to complete by June 15 of this year.
