Another 3 residents of Semey city tested positive for the coronavirus infection. All of them are contacts with the patient born in 1952. This is a man of 1966, as well as a woman of 1968 and a girl born in 1998.

According to the sanitary-epidemiological service of the region, despite the restrictive measures introduced, a family event was held in the woman’s family of 1952, where close relatives gathered. To date, out of 8 people, seven have tested positive for the coronavirus. Among them is a child of 2017.

According to the epidemiological history, all of them were not leave the region and the country. In the first case, 47 contacts were identified from this outbreak, including close ones - 10 people. In total, in all 7 cases, 83 contact persons were identified. Close - 26, potential - 57.

According to the algorithm, they are isolated by categories under observational and home quarantine. An epidemiological investigation is underway.

A total of 23 confirmed cases of the CVI were recorded in the region, including 3 imported, 20 local, including 1 fatal case in Ust-Kamenogorsk city. According to the territorial distribution, Ust-Kamenogorsk city has 7 cases, 14 cases in Semey city, 1 case in Abai and 1 case in Gluboky districts.
