Another case of COVID-19 is registered today in East Kazakhstan. A resident of Semey born in 1952 tested positive for the coronavirus infection.

On April 27, after the patient was hospitalized with a diagnosis of pneumonia, as part of the established algorithm, she was tested for the CVI. The result of the analysis by PCR on April 28 was positive.

At the moment, she is isolated in the infectious hospital, receiving appropriate therapy. The state of moderate severity. An epidemiological investigation is also

underway to identify and isolate contacts. According to the epidemiological analysis, she did not leave the region or the country.

In general, to date, there are 17 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in East Kazakhstan.
