Another case of COVID-19 infection was registered in East Kazakhstan region.

A man of 1965 was tested positive for the coronavirus infection. A resident of Gluboky district arrived from the Russian Federation on April 22. A day later, symptoms, temperature and weakness appeared. He was immediately isolated in a provisional hospital. PCR analysis for COVID-19 showed a positive result.

Currently, the patient is transferred to the infectious box and is receiving therapy. The state of moderate severity.

Enhanced epidemiological investigation and measures are being taken to identify and isolate contacts.

In general, 16 cases of coronavirus are currently registered in EKO.
