A cargo plane carrying medical equipment arrived in East Kazakhstan

Today, at 6.20 p.m., 14 tons of cargo from China with medical supplies were delivered to Ust-Kamenogorsk Airport. These are 100,000 rapid tests, 18,000 protective gowns, 80,000 respirators, 10,000 medical protective masks, screens and glasses from COVID-19.

Thus, the region completely covers the need for medical supplies in all infectious, provisional and observational hospitals in the region. At first, people who are at the forefront in the fight against CVI will be tested. These are medical personnel, employees of law enforcement and sanitary-epidemiological agencies.

According to Danial Akhmetov Akim of East Kazakhstan, the purchase and transportation of special boards with medical supplies was financed from the funds of the Paryz Public Fund. Buying supplies as quick as possible became possible thanks to the Chinese partners - Xinjiang Commercial and Industrial Corporation "San Bao". By the way, the company for residents of East Kazakhstan region at its own expense additionally sent 2200 protective masks of the Alena-310 brand, as well as 200,000 disposable needles for blood sampling and measuring pipets in the amount of over KZT10 million. The leadership of San Bao Corporation wished the people of Kazakhstan good health and to defeat the pandemic fast as can.

- In accordance with the address of Elbasy and within the framework of implementing the order of the President of the country, our region in a short time acquired the necessary medical products and goods in cooperation with Chinese partners. This will allow us to provide a supply of COVID-19 protective equipment for medical and sanitary-epidemiological services workers who are now working at the forefront to preserve the health and life of our compatriots”, said the Head of the region Danial Akhmetov.

Volunteers of Nur Otan Party took an active part in the delivery of goods. Medical devices will be delivered to the warehouse of Mobilization Training Administration for further distribution to cities and districts of the region.
