Two teenagers from East Kazakhstan region recovered from COVID-19

This became known today. Two brothers born 2006 and 2007 recovered from the virus infection, who were treated at the infectious hospital of Semey city.

Recall that a teenager born in 2006 was hospitalized with a dry cough, fever up to 38°C and general weakness. On April 3,2020 he was diagnosed with left-sided upper-lobe infiltrative pneumonia. Later analysis on COVID-19 showed a positive result.

On April 6, it became known that his brother born in 2007 was also tested positive for the coronavirus infection. He was tested for COVID-19 due to close contact with a confirmed case.

At the moment, both teenagers are at home and feeling good. They underwent a full examination, tests for COVID-19 are negative.

As of April 20, 2020, 3 people have already recovered in the region. This is a patient from Semey city born in 1959 and two residents from Ust-Kamenogorsk - a grandmother born 1938 and a grandfather born in 1938. Five more patients are under treatment.
