Akim of the region Danial Akhmetov had a telephone conversation with the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The head of the region reported on the sanitary-epidemiological situation in the region. He spoke in detail about measures have being taken to defeat the coronavirus infection as well as to prevent its further spread.

Additionally, Danial Akhmetov informed about the organization of the payment of social benefits in the amount of KZT42,500, which were received by over 182,000 East Kazakhstanis.

The implementation of projects for the repair of infrastructure, social facilities and local roads under the program "Employment Road Map" with the creation of 20,000 jobs are under Special control in the region.

The regional akim noted that preparations were made for spring field work with the introduction of a simplified procedure for the movement of agricultural machinery and goods on the principle of the “green corridor”.
