Dear East Kazakhstani people!

According to the instructions of the President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during the state of emergency, all people who have lost their income receive now monthly social payments in the amount of KZT42,500. Including self-employed and people who worked informally.

Today, about 12,000 people in East Kazakhstan region have already received this financial assistance. In general, over 100,000 applications were received in the region.

I made a decision to increase the number of employees in Kazpost offices and banks from 900 to 1500. This will allow us to timely and efficiently serve the population.

Additionally, the working hours of all departments were extended till 9 p.m. You can open a special social account and receive payment on weekends. 

It’s worth saying that our region received 5,000 remote thermometers. They will be given to police officers of Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey and districts. I ask you to calmly and with understanding treat the actions of the police if they come to you on the street and measure the temperature. Thermometers are non-contact, absolutely harmless. Many of you who work for large enterprises go through this procedure every day. This method is used to detect whether your temperature is elevated or not, which means that you will be provided with the necessary medical care on time.

Dear compatriots! Only together we will overcome the difficulties! The restriction that we introduced is a necessary measure. We can defeat the pandemic and save our lives and the lives of our loved ones only through self-isolation.
