Dear East Kazakhstan residents! Dear fellow countrymen!

Today we celebrate the national holiday - the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was not by chance that he received this status - it was on October 25, 1990 that the Declaration on State Sovereignty of our Country was adopted, where the political and legal foundations of Kazakhstan as an independent state were announced. The Declaration consolidated such principles of Kazakhstan's statehood as the integrity, indivisibility and inviolability of territories, the development of the culture of the peoples of Kazakhstan and their languages, and the strengthening of national identity. Moreover, it was in this document that the principle of independent solution of political, economic and social problems was proclaimed. Therefore, without exaggeration, it was on this day that the formation of Kazakhstan as a new country began, with its own laws, its own domestic and foreign policy. Over the years, the state has gone through a difficult path of development, overcoming various difficulties, we have managed to build a strong civil society, strengthen interethnic and interethnic harmony, and take a worthy place in the world political arena. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that Republic Day is really a national holiday, as it symbolizes events that had a special historical significance and had a significant impact on the development of our statehood.
