A set of issues was addressed as part of an extended meeting of Akim’s Office. One of them is the development of renewable energy sources. There are hydropower projects for Altai district and Katon-Karagai district, I instructed to analyze the issue of building wind and solar power plants in Ulan, Glubokoe and Kurchum districts. This is very important for the latter one, since the population and businesses will increase the need for electricity with the commissioning of the bridge there. We also discussed the construction of kindergartens and schools, in the region one hundred percent of children from 3 to 6 years old have access to preschool education, and 98 percent among 2 to 6 years of age. Four buildings will soon be returned for targeted needs, and this will provide an additional 860 places. The buildings are located in Ablaketka, and on Likharev, Kosmicheskaya and Protozanov streets, and by 2023 the coverage of children will be one hundred percent. The issue of subsidizing passenger transport was raised too, the city akimat fulfills its contractual obligations, in turn, carriers should use profits to renew and modernize bus fleets. The e-ticketing system has given a good account of itself, as well as the possibility of paying by QR code. A special attention concerns two districts created after the division of the regions - Samar and Tarbagatai. There are issues here that need to be addressed. They concern infrastructure, construction of housing for large families and young professionals. So, in Samar settlement, there is an unfinished 60-apartment building, and it can be used for these purposes. As for Ridder, the renovation of the Palace of Culture will begin in the near future, and the issue of building a school for 300 places is also being considered.
