As part of a working trip to the Kurchum region, I got acquainted with the construction of a bridge across the Bukhtarma Reservoir. This is a unique strategic and social facility to connect three districts. The bridge is being built on behalf of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Construction is underway from two banks at once, and lest to depend on seasonal weather conditions, a technical bridge has been erected. Builders work in two shifts, a shift camp is available for them. The total length of the bridge is 1316 meters. 9 out of 21 supports have already been erected. An indicator of the reliability and strength of the future crossing is that bridge builders use the most modern technologies. For example, the depth of the support reaches more than 40 meters. The width of the bridge floor will be 10 meters, traffic interchanges, water diversion and paths for the passage of livestock are provided. I note that the bridge will not interfere with navigation in any way. It is important to say that the construction of this unique facility for Kazakhstan will make it possible to radically change the logistics in three districts - Kurchum, Tarbagatai and Zaisan. After the completion of the project, the price of the ferry crossing will no longer be included in the cost of all goods. The bridge will give impetus to the economic and social development of the districts, as well as tourism, industry and entrepreneurship.
