Today I paid a working visit to Kurchum district, where during the session of the Maslikhat, in agreement with the deputies, I introduced new Akim of the district - Almat Talgatovich Akyshev. He is a native of Kurchum district with good management skills, worked in economy and tourism sectors, headed the Regional Administration for Housing, Public Utilities and Energy. He now faces a set of economic and social tasks ought to be addressed. I also visited one of the buildings of the Museum of Kurchum settlement, where the military commissariat was located earlier, in order to preserve the architecture, we will allocate money for its reconstruction. Funds from the regional budget will also be used to repair the bridge across the water channel at the entrance to the district center. The design and estimate documentation for these works is already under examination. I would like to note that the Surgical Department has been overhauled at Kurchum District Hospital, and there are really good surgeons there who have been trained in foreign clinics. Repairs are actively underway in the Maternity Department. And this will ensure a higher level of medical care for women and babies. I instructed the leadership of the regional healthcare administration to resolve the issue of providing housing for doctors in Markakol as soon as possible, the maternity ward in the settlement has modern equipment. They need two more specialists in the system of obstetrics. For them, we will build houses in the shortest possible time. I also visited the boiler house, which provides heat to social facilities, I am glad that all facilities are ready for the heating season.
