Today I held a meeting to address a set of important social issues. Firstly, it concerns housing construction for large and low-income families - it is decided that 20 houses would be built in Zaisan district, 14 ones in Kurchum district, and 5 ones in Katon-Karagai district. And I instructed Akims to draw up a plan depicting when and for what particular family a house would be built. We have families with many children who have abandoned their houses, there are good houses in villages which are not used, and we can buy them out and make repairs there. Another important issue is providing villages with the Internet, 126 villages have problems with access to the Internet, and we have developed a standard design for antenna-mast structures to be installed in the villages. As for the construction of Sports and Recreation Complexes, in villages with the population of less than 3,000 people, we will build a standard project, like in Airtau village. Where there are more than 3,000 residents, we will build Sports and Recreation Complexes like that in Tavriya settlement. As for schools, we have also developed standard designs of educational institutions for 50, 100, 320, 600 and 1200 places, and if necessary, we will use them. An important issue is to prepare the region for the heating season. By October 1, we are ready to provide heating for all social facilities. Residential buildings have readiness certificates. There is no panic at railway dead ends, the population bought coal reserves in time. We have opened two more fuel sales points. Also, all boiler houses are ready for the winter season. The situation in Ridder caused a little concern, but the leaders of the Thermal Electric Plant assure that the repair of the station is nearing completed. Monitoring groups will continue their work to check to prices for socially significant products, the groups have shown their efficiency. It is also necessary to resume the work of agricultural fairs, where the population will be able to purchase products directly from producers, bypassing dealers.
