Today in Ust-Kamenogorsk I held a meeting with akim of the region Abai Nurlan Urankhayev. We discussed the creation of joint groups from the two regions, which will be responsible for the harmonization of the transition process for the division of regions. On our initiative, all departments will be responsible for the most peaceful transition. The key issues remain the adequate operation of the entire social and engineering infrastructure. The heads of the two regional groups should develop a joint plan within a few days, which will provide for the functioning of all life support facilities. We undertake the supply of coal to the districts, the repair of Ust-Kamenogorskaya Street in Semey, as well as the completion of the construction of a school in the village of Stepnoye. Every day I will hear reports from all heads of departments. This work is another step towards fruitful cooperation. Also, together with the akim of the Abai region, we visited the Museum of Islamic Culture in the Khalifa Altai mosque. It is equipped with special equipment that will help to digitalize valuable exhibits. And the new tennis center of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
