Working  with Disabilities readers

The important part of service  of the staff  of the Abai Library is  the work with the elderly and people with disabilities.

From May 5 to May 11, within the framework of the social project "Knigonosha  " (Carrying of books) the library carried out work on serving people with disabilities at home.

During the holidays, specialists of the Readers Service Department visited our regular readers: Marina Odentsova, Ekaterina Vorobyeva, Ilyas Syzdykbekov, Andrey Ryabchuk. They  received  need  fiction, periodicals, as well as new books entered to the library.

Library staff congratulated readers on the wonderful May holiday: 1 - the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan (on 1 May) and - Victory Day (on May 9)

Work to provide library services to people with disabilities and the elderly at home will continue throughout the year.
