Friendship is the beginning of unity: ethno-cultural extended exhibition 

On  April 28, to  the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, the staff of the East Kazakhstan Regional Abai Library together with the Tatar public center and the Uzbek cultural center "Buyuk kelezak", organized an ethno-cultural expanded book exhibition.

Representatives of the Tatar public center G. Khamitkyzy and N. Khasanova presented Tatar national clothes, hats, scarves, an apron, decorative items, photo albums at the exhibition . They  spoke about the history of the Tatar nation. The Uzbek cultural center "Buyuk kelezak" presented books in the Uzbek language, ceramic dishes.

The visitors of the exhibition also got acquainted with the books from the collection of the Abai Library about the traditions, culture and national cuisine of the peoples of Kazakhstan.

Each exhibit presented at the exhibition emphasized the peculiarity of the Tatar and Uzbek people. Representatives of the national centers presentedinteresting and informative information and answered many questions from the participants of the event .

At the end of the event, on behalf of the library, representatives of the national centers were awarded with letters of thanks.
