The extraordinary XXIII Congress of the Amanat Party took place today

The extraordinary XXIII Congress of the Amanat Party took place today, during which the President of Kazakhstan outlined the main vectors of further modernization of the party-political sphere and liberalization of electoral legislation, and also focused on the role of the Amanat party in the process of cardinal reform of the state and society. Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev thanked everyone for their support in the elections and announced his withdrawal from the party and the termination of the powers of its chairman. The President of the country proposed the candidacy of Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov for the post of chairman, which was unanimously supported. The Head of State also stressed that the initiative of the Adal party to unite with the Amanat party is a vivid example of changes that have begun in the party field, solidarity and mobilization of efforts of the country's socio-political forces.
