Today, the working group dealing with the issue of Ridder's heat supply summed up the first results of the work. I will immediately note that we have a lot of questions to the management of the Ridder CHP. They want to completely transfer all the networks to our balance, but this option is possible only if they are in normal working condition. For our part, we are ready to understand the current situation in detail: from tariff plans to fulfillment of obligations for heat supply to consumers. Over the past three years, the CHP has suffered heavy losses due to the emergency downtime of the fifth turbine, now it has been repaired. It is also important to say that despite the fact that the CHP in Ridder is a private company, they are still subject to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Electric Power Industry". The Commission will continue its work, after the final conclusions we will be able to sit down at the negotiating table and discuss the conditions for the further operation of the heat source.
