Today I held a meeting during which we discussed the development plan of the region, in particular the construction of social facilities. There are ongoing projects from last year, they will be completed. The Republican Commission showed that East Kazakhstan occupies a leading position in terms of Kazakhstani content in the field of industry - this indicator is 75 percent.

As for social facilities, this year we are completing the construction of a student dormitory in Ust-Kamenogorsk, a school in Ridder, sports and recreation complexes in the villages of Kainar, Tavrichesky and Bozanbay, as well as in Tarbagatai district.

This year, the reconstruction of the reception and modernization of the diagnostic department at the medical center on Abai Avenue in Ust-Kamenogorsk will begin.

A significant number of projects are planned to be implemented in the field of providing drinking water to the population - work on the construction of water supply networks in the village of Krasina is being completed, networks in Samara and Maraldy are ready for commissioning. Block-modular stations will be built in Novaya Shulba and Shalkar. In Urjar, the third stage of the construction of water supply networks has begun. All these issues concerning the quality of life of East Kazakhstan residents are constantly monitored.
