Last weekend, Ust-Kamenogorsk hosted the VII International Athletics Championship for the prizes of Olga Rypakova. The arena named after her meets international standards, this time athletes from Ukraine and other regions of the country came to the competition. Unfortunately, in recent years the championship has been held without spectators and few athletes from foreign countries come to the arena. But in any case, this event is a great opportunity for a "dress rehearsal" before the big world championships. Our athletes demonstrate good results, set personal records and records of Kazakhstan. We conduct regular training of coaches who possess both proven methods and completely new technologies for educating athletes. And I am glad that more and more children are engaged in athletics every year, it is becoming truly massive, I am convinced that new names of East Kazakhstan athletes will light up in the starry sky. Moreover, they have a great example - our famous countryman, Olympic champion Olga Rypakova.
