I held a meeting with the public of Semey, during which we discussed the results of 2021 and the further implementation of the Comprehensive Plan for the Socio-economic Development of the city, which was approved by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in 2019. A lot has already been done. So, for example, a duker was repaired, which had not been repaired for 30 years before, which threatened an environmental disaster not only for our region, but also for other cities standing on the Irtysh. The implementation of the program of development of the former district centers, in particular the village of Kainar, where the reconstruction of the House of Culture, landscaping and repair of roads is underway, continues. In 2022, reconstruction of the facades of 19 buildings along Shakarim Avenue is planned in Semey, this is a kind of gate of the city. At the same time, the main task is to preserve the unique historical appearance of the city. In total, more than 50 projects are planned for implementation. This includes the repair of streets and roads, primarily those where public transport routes pass. Also, according to numerous requests of citizens, the reconstruction of the autoguge bridge and the Spartak stadium is planned. A 51.5-kilometer-long road is being built to bypass Semey. We will also pay special attention to housing construction - in 2022, more than 440 thousand square meters of housing will be put into operation and 43 houses will be built under the "One-Story East" program. 35 yards will be repaired with the installation of 16 sports and playgrounds. Undoubtedly, we will continue work on the repair of the heating main, landscaping, installation of cameras "Sergek" and street lighting. The main task that the deputies and the city authorities are currently facing is to hold meetings with the residents of the city within a month, where they will be informed about what is planned to be done, and, if necessary, make adjustments in accordance with the wishes of the citizens.
