Today I held a meeting with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, in particular, in the field of catering. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to review strict quarantine restrictions on the SME sector. Starting today, we are starting to gradually cancel some measures.
First of all, there will be no restrictions on working hours in cafes, canteens and restaurants, karaoke bars, nightclubs, billiard and banquet halls. Only in terms of occupancy-no more than 50 percent, that is, no more than a hundred people at mass family events, 70 in clubs and 50 in karaoke. Business representatives assured that all employees are vaccinated, work is carried out according to the "green" status of "Ashyq" and all sanitary standards are observed. As for religious sites and events, there is also a restriction on filling - no more than 50 percent. These changes were made possible thanks to one hundred percent vaccination and good rates of revaccination. To date, 142 thousand people have been revaccinated, by February 1 this figure will be 238 thousand. Vaccination of adolescents and other categories of the population with Pfizer continues. We cannot risk the health of our children, therefore, with the exception of grades 9-11, schoolchildren study remotely, and children's entertainment centers are closed.
I thank entrepreneurs for their understanding and support during the tragic events for our country. I am sure that we will resolve all issues through a general agreement.
