An increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection is recorded in the region. During the day, 213 cases were identified in the region. At the same time, I want to say that the situation with the CVI is under control. Today I held talks with suppliers of medical equipment and we will increase the number of intensive care beds to 500. The region has the necessary stock of medicines, drugs and equipment.

Now the key issue is to continue revaccination of the population and vaccination with Pfizer of our children, nursing mothers and pregnant women. It is very important. As practice shows, only vaccination can resist the spread of the virus. An additional 62 thousand doses of the vaccine were delivered to the region, another 120 thousand doses are available for revaccination. All vaccination points are working. I have instructed the health department to carry out revaccination of medical staff as soon as possible. Today, doctors are at the forefront of the fight against CVI, there is a huge burden on medical institutions. And it is our duty to protect them.

Medical practice shows that unvaccinated patients with coronavirus suffer in severe form, and they also have a serious postcovid syndrome. Therefore, vaccinations against CVI are recommended even for those who have been ill. I ask you to comply with all necessary sanitary standards. This is the only way we will prevent the spread of infection.
