Convenient version gov.kz will improve the provision of public services

The unified platform of Internet resources of government agencies (EPIR GO) has become available to all users in a new format. For the convenience of citizens, the Internet resource has been changed from the point of view of a human-centered approach, structuring public services for "life situations".

EPIR GO is a unique platform that combines all the sites of local executive bodies, central state bodies, including those accountable to the President of the country (Agency for Civil Service Affairs, Anti-Corruption Agency, etc.), into a single and convenient structure.

The platform is located on the Internet page  https://www.gov.kz/ and has a mobile version, a user-friendly interface and intuitive navigation.

In the first section "About Kazakhstan", site visitors can learn more about the country, get to know Kazakhstan better. Next, you can see the main section with categories of services, divided into tabs "Citizens" and "Business". When you click on a category, a list of materials of "Life situations" and all public services on this topic is displayed.

In the "Life Situations" tab, site visitors will be able to find a summary of useful information on a specific topic divided into steps written in simple and understandable language. Each material on the topic of "Life situations", in addition to a full explanation of the processes, may cover the procedures for obtaining several public services related to each other by the same topic, contain links to background information, documents, NPA (regulatory legal acts) and online services.

"A person should be at the center of any process related to the provision of public services. To make the main page of the platform as informative and useful as possible, we have focused on life situations. If, for example, you have a child, you simply find the appropriate life situation, choose it and get access to information on how to attach to a polyclinic, register with a doctor, go on maternity leave, register the birth of a child, put the child in the kindergarten queue, arrange payments and allowances, and so on," commented Asset Turysov, Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Today, users have access to more than 120 materials in different categories: family, healthcare, education, business registration and others. Under each "life situation" there is a feedback form where everyone can leave their comments and suggestions. According to these data, specialists can regularly improve the quality of content.

It should be noted that earlier (since 2019) the platform was available only for government agencies. To date, EPIR has consolidated the websites of 18 central bodies, 54 committees, 13 websites of state bodies accountable to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and more than 600 local executive bodies, without switching to third-party resources.

The platform has been launched in the pilot mode of JSC "National Information Technologies".
