Danial Akhmetov made a working visit to Bozanbai settlement of Ulan district

Akim of the region inspected the progress of implementing the former district centers development program. First of all, the head of the region visited one of local schools of the settlement, noting that it is completely ready for the new school year. Despite the fact that the building is more than half a century old, it is in excellent condition.

“It is pleasant to note that at school, the teaching staff is trying to create coziness and comfort for school students. A robotics classroom is equipped and operates, in the IT classroom there is one computer for two schoolstudents.

By the way, in the region the average indicator is one computer for four students. Moreover, there is a cultural center in the settlement with creative teams and a library. District authorities have also planned to update the premises next year,” D. Akhmetov emphasized.

Then the head of the region examined the hospital building. Today it serves 6 settlements. The capacity of ​​the premises, good repair and location - not far from Ust-Kamenogorsk city, allow opening a branch of the Regional Rehabilitation Center there.

“I instructed the head of Healthcare Administration to prepare a project that addresses absolutely everything: comfortable wards for the rehabilitation of people after COVID-19, as well as medical equipment for health recovery,” said Danial Akhmetov.

Also, according to the head of the region, in the near future 6 large families of Bozanbai will celebrate housewarming in new houses.

“The apartments are spacious, comfortable, there is a place for a vegetable garden and farm buildings. I instructed the district akim to find out how many more families in the district want to become participants of the Bakytty Otbasy Program. I would like to emphasize that today we are ready to provide the necessary assistance in this matter,” said the head of the region.

During the working trip, the regional akim also said that within the framework of the former district centers support program, the sports and recreation complex is under construction in Bozanbai settlement, that will enable both children and adults to go in for sports.

However, there is also a problematic issue in the settlement: the contractor is delaying road repairs. They had to repair and asphalt four streets. In this regard, Danial Akhmetov instructed the akim of the district to keep this issue under personal control.
