East Kazakhstan region made a decision to build an unusual center for the children development

Danial Akhmetov met with the heads of Administrations of Education, Culture, Sports and Construction to discuss a large-scale project of Zerde Scientific and Creative Center with no analogues in Kazakhstan.

The name of the center was specifically chosen, and it means “Knowledge” in Kazakh. And the uniqueness of the Scientific and Creative Center is that scientific laboratories, museum exhibitions and creative classrooms will be located in one place.

According to the head of the region, now children of the region will be able to study artificial intelligence, quantum physics, space. And they will do this using the world's most advanced equipment.

“Perhaps we will see small but very important scientific discoveries made by our children. Children must be engaged in science, they must be motivated and inspired,” said Danial Akhmetov.

The center also includes 18 scientific laboratories, craft, art and culinary workshops, music, sports and game rooms. Moreover, not only children, but also adults will be able to study in them. Additionally, for the youngest visitors there will be a hall that will allow them to plunge into the world of dinosaurs, jungle and fairy tales. There will definitely be museums of archeology, arts and folk art.

“It is necessary that residents and guests of the region learn as much as possible from the history and traditions of the peoples of Kazakhstan. We will transform some of the halls in order to change the exposition, to arrange something new and interesting for our children and their parents,” the head of the region emphasized.

It’s worth noting that Zerde is going to be a place where the whole family can come and spend the whole day. In this regard, Akim of East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov recommended that the representatives of the Administrations, when updating the project, try to make this Center even more exciting and predict what would be interesting for children.
