Akim of East Kazakhstan region held a meeting on the construction of schools in the region.
During the event, Danial Akhmetov stressed that it is necessary to examine further this issue and analyze the demographic situation in order to clearly understand in which settlement and for how many places we need to build educational institutions.
According to the head of the region, it is important to use ready-made standard projects that have already to be successful. One of these is the school in Tavricheskoye settlement. “This is a very successful project, it needs to be used. Development of all documentation is a very costly procedure, therefore standard projects will save budget funds,” Danial Akhmetov said.
In the future, it is also planned to build a school in Urunhaika village for 100 places, and this project can also be used for other settlements. Furthermore, next year it is planned to build schools in Semey city, in Karagaily and Myasokombinat districts.
“In 2023, a school will be built behind the Regional Drama Theater in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, as this is a dynamically developing residential area. Zhylandy, Belousovka settlements and Kapai village will also get new educational institutions. We need 25 schools out of 32 that the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan is ready to build,” the regional akim noted.
At the same time, the meeting highlighted the need for drawing up a long-term plan for 2021-2025 to identify where it is necessary to build educational institutions and where it is enough to make just major repairs.
All this will allow in the future to correctly distribute budget funds.
