To keep their business, entrepreneurs must be more far-sighted and take better care of their clienteles’ safety, said Akim of East Kazakhstan region during a meeting on the regional development.
Danial Akhmetov held a regular meeting with akims of cities and districts of East Kazakhstan region on the participation of SMEs in the Ashyq project, which allows entrepreneurs to continue their activities during the coronavirus pandemic.
First of all, the regional akim stressed that similar programs and mobile applications are used in all civilized countries of the globe, since this is still the only and effective way to simultaneously keep the business running and ensure the safety of the population - a key market participant.
“There are no other options yet. It must be remembered: business will be active if a client is safe and sound. For this reason, entrepreneurs should be more actively involved in this project,” D. Akhmetov emphasized.
In this regard, he instructed akims of cities and districts to hold meetings with representatives of SMEs until August, 20 in order to get a clear picture: how many entrepreneurs are already participating in Ashyq, how many express their readiness and where there are problems with connection.
Danial Akhmetov also commented on the dynamics of vaccination in the region. He highlighted that the event is well underway. “Today we make about 13,000 shots of vaccine per day with a tendency to grow up to 16,000. It is important to understand that this is the only way we can reduce the rate of incidence and spread of the coronavirus infection, as well as reduce the damage that the disease causes to the health of our loved ones,” said the head of the region.
