Danial Akhmetov inspected the progress of construction of social and infrastructure facilities in the regional center

Today the head of the region Danial Akhmetov visited several construction sites in Ust-Kamenogorsk city. In particular, he got familiar with the construction of a four-story tennis center that will meet international standards. According to the regional akim, there are no similar tennis centers in Kazakhstan yet. In addition to the main hall, there will be training rooms, a comfortable recreation area for guests, and a sports clinic. “Now it is essential to carefully choose the necessary equipment, as well as how all the premises will be located. To do this, we have attracted trainers to the design work. Among them is Sergey Litvinov, who has brought up several generations of talented athletes,” the regional akim said.

Then he visited the “Satti City” complex, where the residential buildings are being built by a Karaganda company. There Danial Akhmetov was dissatisfied with the construction process. “However, I regret to note that here, like at many other construction sites of the regional center, there is no culture of production: garbage, non-compliance with requirements and safety measures, inadequate conditions for workers,” said Akim.

He said that a remarkable example of a competent approach in this regard referred to a unique hematology center. During its construction, all conditions were created for comfortable and safe work.

“I gave our construction companies a task to put things in order at the sites within ten days, after which I will come again to check each facility,” said Danial Akhmetov.

During this working trip to Ust-Kamenogorsk, the head of the region also inspected the completion of repair work on Esenberlin Street and got acquainted with the repair work on Satpayev Avenue.

Furthermore, Akim of East Kazakhstan region held a short meeting, at which he instructed to develop a plan for the expansion of Tselinnaya, Pogranichnaya and Karbyshev streets.
