Several individual residential buildings are being put into operation this fall in Serebryansk town of Altai district.

Akim of the East Kazakhstan region made a working visit to Serebryansk town, where he got acquainted with the progress of implementation of important social projects. At first, the head of the region visited a Sports and Recreation Complex with an area of ​​almost 5,000 square meters, which is being built at the expense of the regional budget. There are halls for single combats, athletics, team sports. There will also be a covered football field and four 400-meter jogging tracks that meet all international standards. According to the contractors, to date, construction and installation work has been completed by 20%, and commissioning is planned in the first quarter of next year. Further, the regional akim got acquainted with the progress of construction of two individual residential houses on Pobeda street and three houses on A. Moldagulova street. The construction of residential buildings is carried out by a local company within the framework of the One-Storey East Program. The total area of ​​each house is 89.9 sq.m. Commissioning is planned for the fall. Large families will be the first ones to celebrate the housewarming. Then doctors, teachers, cultural workers and graduates of orphanages will get their houses. For these purposes, the district akimat bought out the dormitory building of the former garment factory. 40 two-room apartments will be repaired on a turnkey basis. Thus, the region intends to fill the deficit of specialists. Then the head of the region visited the territory of the former town beach. On behalf of Danial Akhmetov, the Akimat of Serebryansk town will prepare a reconstruction project. In the future, a wonderful place on the banks of the Irtysh river will be equipped for townspeople. Also, the regional akim got acquainted with the design solution for the reconstruction of an administrative building for the cultural and leisure center of Serebryansk town. On the first floor it is proposed to locate a branch of Employment Coordination and Social Programs Department, on the second and third - to place hobby groups, creative studios and a music school. 4-5 floors will be given to sports sections. The project also provides for the restoration of the concert hall. “Thus, the townspeople will get a new cultural and sports facility. Moreover, there is an urgent need for this. The town's music school has 350 children. We will continue to improve Serebryansk town, last year the roads were repaired, all issues of heat supply were resolved. The solution of housing and other issues of the city is under my constant control,” said Danial Akhmetov.
