“On Combating Corruption in State Revenue Agencies”

Currently, the country is implementing the Anti-corruption Strategy for 2015-2025, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 26, 2014 No. 986, with the main directions:

- anti-corruption in the field of public service;

- introduction of the institution of public control;

- prevention of corruption in the judiciary and law enforcement agencies;

- formation of the level of anti-corruption culture;

- development of international cooperation on anti-corruption issues.

Thus, the state has created all the necessary legal conditions for combating corruption, for its prevention and prevention.

Work to prevent manifestations of corruption is also being carried out in the Department of State Revenues for of the region of East Kazakhstan, joint measures have been developed and approved to identify and minimize the causes and conditions that contribute to corruption. On a regular basis, the Department conducts trips to the territorial state revenue bodies of the region to clarify the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to conduct surveys on the subject of combating corruption, to identify the causes and factors contributing to the manifestation of corruption in state revenue bodies.

To increase the awareness of service recipients of the procedure for the provision of public services, the staff of the state revenue bodies conduct Advisory Councils, seminar meetings, round tables and other events.

In addition to the ongoing monitoring, the work of state revenue bodies is monitored by analyzing the opinions and reviews of service recipients.

At the same time, in order to take preventive measures in a timely manner, we made it a rule not to disregard any fact or signal that directly or indirectly relates to corruption, rudeness on the part of officials of the Department.

Only through objective and clear work in the fight against corruption of all state bodies can corruption be defeated, but this may not be enough, therefore, public servants in this direction must also work in close contact with citizens and society as a whole.
