Akim of the region participated today in the official launch of the road bridge construction across the Bukhtarma Reservoir in Kurchum district

A two-lane road bridge is being built on a site with a minimum width of the artificial reservoir, next to Kuigan village. The length of the construction will exceed 1.3 km. The project involves laying the access routes from Kurchum and Kokpekty districts. The contractor for the construction OblShygysZhol LLP must complete the road bridge construction by 2024. ⠀  

This is a crucial, long-expected event for the residents of our region. The project, being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the President, is of strategic importance. It will connect the border areas to the other parts of the region, people and goods will be able to move easier and faster. The bridge will make society’s communications so much closer and improve the quality of life of the population of remote districts. Moreover, it will open up new opportunities for the further development of the economy of East Kazakhstan region.
