New akim of Kokpekty district appointed

In East Kazakhstan, in agreement with the deputies of the district maslikhat, by the order of the head of the region, Rajan Seitkanov, who previously held the post of deputy akim of Gluboky district, was appointed akim of Kokpekty district.

Danial Akhmetov introduced the new akim to the district's activists.

Rajan Seitkanov was born in Katon settlement, Katon-Karagai district, East Kazakhstan region. In 2008 he graduated from the Almaty Institute of Power Engineering and Communications majoring in Engineering. And also in 2015 he graduated from the Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics, earning a Bachelor of Economics and Business. He began his career in 2009 as a mechanician to repair equipment at VK REC JSC. Then he headed the service of water supply and sewerage networks, the chief engineer of Infroservice of Akimat of Ridder town.

In 2012, he worked as an electrical supervisor of Bastama-Semey LLP in Semey city, as an expert of construction, architecture and town planning department of Gluboky district. Then he worked as acting director of Teploenergiya of Akimat of Gluboky district.

From 2014-2015, he held the positions of an inspector, a leading expert, head of culture and language development department of Katon-Karagai district.

Further, the deputy head of domestic policy department, Culture and Language Development, deputy akim of Katon-Karagai rural district of Katon-Karagai district, akim of Glubokoe settlement, Gluboky district.

Until now, he worked as a deputy akim of Gluboky district.
