East Kazakhstan region starts to implement the program on comprehensive development of former district centers, Danial Akhmetov announced on Instagram

“This year we are going to start implementing the comprehensive plans to improve 13 former district centers of East Kazakhstan. For these purposes, KZT64 billion is

provided from all sources of funding, including private investments, republican and regional budgets.

The main thing I would like to note is that all projects in these plans should be sorted for significance. I was recently in Tavricheskoye village, it turned out that there is a problem with heating at school and in the hospital, only two of the four boilers are working. It is obvious that this project should become a priority in the development of the village. Each akim of a district and akim of a settlement should understand in detail the situation, assess the feasibility of certain projects, priority and significance. Defend your comprehensive plan. The funds will be allocated only after consideration, to warrant the funds invested.

At the same time, I will say that it is already known that this year in Serebryansk in an administrative building we will place a culture center, sports and social facilities. KZT8 billion will be allocated only for the development of Serebryansk, this year - KZT2.9 billion”.

In addition, a school and a hospital will be repaired in Shar, a road and a sports complex will be built, a school roof and a sports hall will be repaired in Kainar. According to Akim of East Kazakhstan region, this is just a small part of the projects to implement. All former district centers will receive a high-quality water supply system, as well as we will develop housing construction, social services, healthcare, mass sports and culture there.

Each project from the initial stage up to the final stage of their implementation will be under the personal control of the head of the region.
