New akim of Ulan district appointed

New akim of Ulan district has been appointed today, by the order of the head of the region, in agreement with the deputies of the regional maslikhat, Renat Tleukhanovich Kurmambayev has been appointed akim of Ulan district.

He previously worked as akim of Katon-Karagai district. Danial Akhmetov introduced new akim to the district's activists.

Let's note that starting today the ex-akim of Ulan district heads Semey city.

Renat Kurmambayev was born on January 25, 1980 in Katon-Karagai district. He has two higher educations – teacher-engineer and Law.

He began his labor activity as a teacher of physical culture in Zhanauyl incomplete secondary school. He joined the civil service in 2003 as a chief expert of Culture Department for work with young people. From 2005 to 2008 he headed HR and State-Legal Department, then he headed HR-Organization Department of Akim's Office of Katon-Karagai district.

In 2009, he worked as a chief inspector of Inspection-Organizational Department of Akim's Office of East Kazakhstan region.

In 2011, he was appointed deputy akim of Katon-Karagai district for social issues. In 2014-2019, he headed Akim’s Office, then worked as a deputy akim of Katon-Karagai district. From June 2019 to the present, he was akim of Katon-Karagai district.
