Large-scale construction projects of East Kazakhstan

Head of East Kazakhstan Danial Akhmetov held a conference call with akims of cities and districts on housing construction.

Active work is currently underway in the region to provide assistance to large and low-income families, namely, to provide housing. In East Kazakhstan region, 209 two-apartment residential buildings with a total area of ​​37.500 m2 are currently under construction at the expense of private developers with subsequent purchase for mothers with many children.

“For the moment, 78 residential buildings with 144 apartments of a total area of ​​12.700 m2 have been commissioned for this category,” noted Akim of East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov. - By the way, eight houses for large families have already been commissioned in Zaisan district, and eight additional houses will be completed by December 1. Additionally, another 50 houses will be built next year. 13 houses are under construction in Abai district, which will be completed by the end of November.

It is worth noting that in 2019, 563 large families have already settled their new homes. By the end of this year, 1,047 families will be provided with housing. So far this year, 379 families have already received the keys to their home. In general, by the end of the year it is planned to provide 668 low-income families and large families with housing. At this time, more than 400 families will receive housing in large cities of the region, and more than 500 ones in districts.
