Best teachers of East Kazakhstan received awards on the eve of their professional holiday

Teachers are the heart of the school. They provide quality education, reasonable upbringing, and direct the younger generation to the future. On the eve of their professional holiday, a solemn online awarding ceremony took place in East Kazakhstan to award outstanding teachers this year.

It should be noted that more than 5,000 teachers took part in the annual competition “Best Teacher” this year at the in-school level, including 500 people were selected at the district rounds of the competition, 20 people presented their best achievements in the region, including 6 teachers are winners of the regional round who represented East Kazakhstan at the republican competition.

Four teachers of the region - winners of the republican competition “Best Teacher – 2020” were awarded certificates worth KZT2.7 million.

During the solemn online awards ceremony, Danial Akhmetov presented certificates in the amount of KZT800,000 to two teachers-winners of the regional round of “Best Teacher – 2020”.

Every year the students of the region show high results at international Olympiads. The head of the region evaluated the high professionalism of six teachers who prepared the winners and prize-winners of international competitions this year, and awarded them certificates in the amount of KZT500,000, as well as letters of thanks.

Three best primary school teachers received awards from the regional akim in the amount of KZT300,000. Additionally, the distinguished teachers of the region were awarded certificates of honor from Akim of East Kazakhstan Danial Akhmetov.

These are positive changes in material terms, in the form of a gradual increase in wages, as well as stimulating teachers to increase the level of their professionalism, recognizing the authority of teachers in the society.
