Currently, 235,000 residents of East Kazakhstan represent the “golden fund” of the region. Your wisdom, energy and infinite hard work are truly priceless for us.

Many of you, in spite of your age, head public organizations, lead an active lifestyle, go in for sports, study computer literacy, showing young people an example of energy and optimism.

In this difficult year for the whole country – during the pandemic, you followed the recommendations and restrictions very attentively, supported all the decisions made, moreover, you tried to convey their importance to our youth. Thank you! We continue to follow your advice, learn from you to work hard, to be strong-minded, to have civic responsibility! You preserve the continuity and connection of generations, you continue to be an example in deeds and actions.

On the eve of the professional holiday in East Kazakhstan, the best teachers were awarded

Teachers are the heart of the school. They provide quality education, reasonable upbringing, and direct the younger generation to the future. On the eve of the professional holiday, a solemn online ceremony of awarding the teachers who distinguished themselves this year was held in East Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that more than 5 thousand teachers took part in the annual competition "Best Teacher" this year at the intraschool level, of which 500 people were selected at the regional stages of the competition, 20 people presented their best achievements in the region, of which 6 are winning teachers the regional stage represented East Kazakhstan at the republican competition.

Four teachers of the region - winners of the republican competition "The Best Teacher of 2020" received certificates worth 2.7 million tenge as awards.

The head of the region Danial Akhmetov congratulated the teachers on their professional holiday.

- The teaching profession is incomparable with any other profession in the world. By opening the door to the world of knowledge for the child, preparing for adult life, you lay the foundations for his future, and therefore the country, - the akim of East Kazakhstan region addressed to the teachers. - The pandemic has shown how important and valuable the work of a teacher is and how necessary it is for each teacher to constantly improve their skills and master the latest teaching tools and methods in order to teach children to think independently, make decisions and be responsible for their choice, and educate them as worthy citizens of the new Kazakhstan ...

During the solemn online awards ceremony, Danial Akhmetov presented certificates in the amount of 800 thousand tenge to two teachers-winners of the regional stage of the "Best Teacher of 2020" competition.

Every year the students of the region show high results at international Olympiads. The head of the region noted the high professionalism of six teachers who prepared the winners and prize-winners of international competitions this year, and presented them with cash certificates in the amount of 500 thousand tenge, as well as letters of thanks.

Three best primary school teachers received awards in the form of an award from the regional akim in the amount of 300 thousand tenge. In addition, the distinguished teachers of the region were awarded certificates of honor from the Akim of East Kazakhstan Danial Akhmetov.

One of the winners of the republican competition "The best teacher of 2020", a primary school teacher of the regional specialized school-lyceum for children gifted in the field of mathematics, physics, computer science of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk Natalya Melnikova thanked the Akim of East Kazakhstan for the honor to represent the region at the republican competition of professional skills ...

- This is the highest award for every teacher. On this wave, I want to strive for new successes. This year we see real changes in the education system associated with the adoption of the Law “On the status of a teacher”. These are positive changes in material terms, in the form of a gradual increase in wages, as well as stimulating teachers to increase the level of professionalism, recognizing the authority of teachers in society.
