Over 1 million tons of coal supplied to residents of East Kazakhstan

To date, preparations for the coming heating season are underway according to the plan. Heat supply of social facilities and multi-stored residential buildings of East Kazakhstan region began on 25 September.

According to Energy, Housing and Public Utilities Administration, public facilities are 100% prepared and provided with coal.

Special attention is paid to the issue of fuel storage at heat sources and objects of vital activity. The TPP and heat sources of the region have accumulated 290,000 tons or 140% of the operational reserve. Delivery is carried out in accordance with concluded contracts.

The total demand for coal for the population for the heating period is 1,123.6 thous. tons. 1,101.7 thous. tons of coal or 98% were supplied.

In general, all objects of vital activity in the region are ready for the beginning of the heating season.

As air outdoor temperature dropped, heat supply of social facilities and multi-stored residential buildings began on September, 25.

As of September 25, 302 schools and 11 healthcare facilities of the region have been proved with heat supply.
